Formally a private residence at the turn of the century, it is now a family run hotel. For a relaxed, warm and comfortable stay then we are the place for you. Foxcombe Lodge was officially opened in July 1985 by his Grace the Duke of Marlborough.

Characterised with individually styled decor, warm colours, and a personal welcome, the hotel provides its residents with a restaurant and bars. Set in beautiful gardens in the tranquil setting of Boars Hill, yet located 4 miles from the centre of Oxford and Abingdon, the hotel is an ideal base for visiting Oxford's historic colleges and exploring the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill.

All bedrooms were re-furbished 2002 - 2003 and are still en-suite and equipped with colour televisions, direct dial telephones, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. Several four poster suites are available. Fresh fruit is always provided in the bedrooms, and flowers for a special occasion can be arranged.
